Prepare for Care

Putting families in control of care

Our care-readiness assessment tool has been engineered to give you financial and legal due-diligence on your care options

What you should ask yourself when looking for care

What level of care do we need?

Care ranges from minimal help at home (domiciliary) to 24/7 nursing home care (residential).

How much will
it cost?

Care costs can vary depending upon factors such as the type of care required, the area you live in and how much funding you get.

What happens to the assets?

Pensions, savings, property and any other assets of  value need to be considered when looking at care costs.

Do we have legal protection?

Making sure you have Lasting Powers of Attorney ensures both health and financial decisions are taken care of in case of incapacity.

We believe informed decisions lead to better outcomes. Whether you are exploring funding options, putting legal foundations in place or reviewing a proposed care plan, we’re here to guide you every step of the way.

This One's For Fred - Our Story

We were experts, for almost two decades we had ran a specialist legal firm focusing on care planning. When Fred, Grandad, was diagnosed with dementia, we realised even our specialist knowledge wasn’t enough to make this process easy. The financial, legal and emotional challenges were overwhelming.

Prepare for Care was born out of that experience. How can we help others feel less lost? Get the right advice sooner? Plan for care with confidence?
